Barry Verkauf, M.D.
A native of Tampa, Dr. Verkauf established the first IVF program on the central west coast of Florida. He has been in practice in the Tampa Bay
area since 1974 and has received both his Ob/Gyn and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility fellowship training at the Johns Hopkins
Hospital. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn at The University of South Florida.
Dr. Verkauf is a member of a number of medical societies for which he has served in leadership roles. He has published numerous papers
regarding the treatment of various reproductive disorders and is an ad hoc reviewer for such prominent journals as Fertility Sterility and
the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Marc Bernhisel, M.D

Dr. Bernhisel serves as the Director of the Assisted Reproductive Technologies program for the Reproductive Medicine Group. He received his residency training in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at Duke University in 1985. He served as director of the division of Reproductive Endocrinology at The University of Florida until 1988 when he relocated to Tampa.
Dr. Bernhisel currently serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn at the University of South Florida and holds membership in several medical societies.
Dr. Bernhisel has published numerous articles and has special interest in operative laparoscopic surgery.

Samuel Tarantino Jr., M.D.
Dr. Tarantino serves as the Medical Director of the Reproductive Medicine Group's IVF and Surgery Center. Following the completion of his Ob/Gyn residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, he received his Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility training at The Michael Reese Hospital and Medical Center. He established his practice in Tampa Bay in 1993 then merged with Dr. Verkauf and Dr. Bernhisel to form the Reproductive Medicine Group in 1997.
Dr. Tarantino is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn at The University of South Florida. He has been honored with an Award for Excellence in Operative Laparoscopy and has taught numerous courses in advanced laparoscopic techniques.
Dr. Tarantino is also fluent in Spanish.

Sandy Goodman, M.D.

Dr. Goodman received her residency training in Ob/Gyn at Harvard University's Brigham and Woman's/Massachusetts General Hospital program. She received her subspecialty training in reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at the Johns Hopkins Medical Hospital and serves as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Ob/Gyn at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Goodman is a member of numerous medical societies including the Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and the Society for Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology. She has received many honors, including the Award in Excellence in Operative Laparoscopy and Operative Hysteroscopy, and has published numerous articles in the field of Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility.

Timothy Yeko, M.D.
In addition to his full time practice with the Reproductive Medicine Group, Dr. Yeko serves as Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at The University of South Florida. He received his training in Ob/Gyn from the University of Illinois and his fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility at UCLA Harbor Medical Center and The University of Illinois.
Dr. Yeko has served on many academic committees and has authored numerous scientific research and clinical articles. He has been the recipient of more than 30 research grants and has been distinguished with multiple teaching awards.
Dr. Yeko has been in practice in the Tampa area since 1989 and joined the Reproductive Medicine Group in 2000.

Betsy McCormick, M.D.

Dr. McCormick is a graduate of the Medical College of Ohio. She received her residency training in obstetrics and gynecology from the University of Cincinnati. She completed her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Cincinnati in June 2008.
Dr. McCormick is board-eligible for both the American Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists as well as for advanced subspecialty certification in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. She has a special interest in Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. Dr. McCormick joined The Reproductive Medicine Group as an Associate in July 2008. |
