Tampa Bay Resolve Support Group
If you’ve been trying to conceive, chances are you’ve searched the internet for information or reassurance, and maybe came away feeling overwhelmed with so many facts, unsure about what is real or how it relates to you.
And even though one out of six couples of childbearing age struggle with some type of infertility, you may feel all alone – misunderstood by close friends or even family members. The isolation of infertility is frequently one of the biggest sources of stress.
Luckily there is support available in our area – the Tampa Bay chapter of Resolve, the national infertility association. Resolve is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education and advocacy to the 7 million Americans struggling with infertility.
Most importantly, Resolve is a group led by your peers – other women and couples who understand the frustration of not being able to conceive or carry a child when you desire to do so. The women and couples who come to Resolve represent a wide range of fertility challenges.
All meetings are free and confidential. No reservation is required, just drop by for support and encouragement in a nurturing environment. Some meetings feature special speakers on such topics as nutrition, adoption or using a donor; also special panels such as men’s experiences, or success stories.
You are welcome to join in the conversation and share your experiences with others who “get it.”
Resolve meets the second Wednesday of each month from 7 to 9 p.m. at the conference center of Memorial Hospital, 2901 Swann Avenue, Tampa, FL 33609.
